Jenny Hammerstein MD is a certified Worsley Classical Five-Element Acupuncturist (WCF-EA) as well as a US board certified Family Practitioner.
Jenny was drawn to WCF-EA after experiencing how treatment changed her life and seeing that it changes people’s lives in ways Western Medicine can’t. It focuses on identifying and treating the core energetic imbalance. In treating this core imbalance, not only can identified symptoms improve or resolve, but the client can find help in clearing mental or emotional blocks that hold him/her back from achieving personal life goals.
Jenny is constantly awed by the types of changes reported by the patient such as “I feel like myself again” “I am not confused anymore” or “My emotions don’t overwhelm me now.” There are also improvements in physical symptoms, without the use of medications.
At the same time, Jenny is still a physician and is alert to conditions that might benefit from a Western medicine evaluation or treatment.
Jenny’s beginning in the medical field was as a dietitian. She qualified for her RD in 1994 and earned her MS in Nutrition in 1996 at California State University in Los Angeles. After practicing for a few years and finding it ultimately limiting, she went to Yale School of Medicine where she received her MD in 2002. She completed her residency in family practice at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Long Island. From residency, she was hired by the hospital for their outpatient clinic, where she worked for a year and a half. She then moved to Passaic where she had a successful solo medical practice from 2007 to 2011 at which point she made Aliyah with her family.
In Israel, she worked with AIM, a private health insurance, taking care of seminary students from 2013 to 2016. During that time she trained privately in F-EA with Raizel Devorah Masail. After completing training, she started practicing acupuncture and did frequent continuing education in the US and in England with the Worsley Institute (for Worsley Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.)
During the Covid Pandemic she repeated the full Worsley Institute Training (WIT), receiving her certificate in 2023.
She has a practice in Jerusalem and is excited to be expanding her practice to Ramat Beit Shemesh at 2nd Nature Healing Center.

Esther Hornstein, L.Ac., is an Acupuncturist as well as the pioneer of 2nd Nature Healing Center. With an innate compassion towards people who suffer with ailments yet would not qualify for Western medical treatment, Esther’s vision is to bring help, hope and healing to all people.
After completing a year in Brooklyn College and a year in Neve Yerushalayim, Esther went on to study in a combined Chinese medicine and Western medicine program, with 4 years of clinical experience from The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, from 2005-2010. While studying she was the office manager of Flatbush Hatzalah. In 2010 she received her Bachelor of Professional Studies and Master of Science in Acupuncture. She holds a New York State License in Acupuncture and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
In 2010 Esther started her independent practice in Brooklyn, called 2nd Nature Acupuncture. After giving birth, she encapsulated her own placenta, and because her midwife knew about this, she started sending women to Esther to get their placentas encapsulated as well. As a result of this, placenta work became an integral part of her practice. In 2019 she completed training and became certified with APPA (Association of Placenta Preparation Arts).
In 2014 she made Aliyah and moved her practice to Ramat Beit Shemesh. She has been practicing privately from RBS ever since, and is also a practitioner at the Alternative Medicine clinic at Meuchedet in Beit Shemesh.

Hi, I’m Dr. Naomi Robertson, an Occupational Therapist and Myofascial Release practitioner originally from Georgia, USA. My path into healing work began with my own family’s journey—growing up with a brother with a severe disability taught me early on the importance of support, compassion, and resilience.
I went on to earn a clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and founded Two Thumbs Up, a nonprofit that built bridges between individuals with autism and their peers through inclusive community events. After experiencing a debilitating injury myself and finding lasting relief through Myofascial Release, I shifted my focus to this powerful hands-on therapy that addresses both physical and emotional tension at its root.
Now living in Israel, I am honored to be part of the team at Second Nature Healing Center in Beit Shemesh, where I look forward to working with individuals and families seeking deeper healing, connection, and relief. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and grounded in both professional training and personal experience.
I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.
